What is my User ID and Password for Mobile Trading?
You can log in to KE Trade's Mobile Trading using your KE Trade username and password. Since both systems have same username and password, you will only be able to log into either KE Trade or Mobile Trading at any given time, but not both at the same time.
 


Where do I go to download the application?
Go to Apple App Store. Search for KE Trade. Click on install.
 


Do brokerage commissions apply when I trade using Mobile Trading?
Yes. Standard KE Trade online brokerage commissions apply to all mobile trades.
 


What devices does KE Trade's Mobile Trading work on? Is iOS 4.0 supported?
KE Trade Mobile's design and performance are optimized for iPhone 3G/3Gs iOS 3.x. It is compatible with iPod Touch and iPad as well. We are currently enhancing KE Trade to be fully functional on iOS 4.0 including the feature to multi-task.
 


Is the market information displayed on KE Trade Mobile real time?
Market information displayed is a data snapshot that can be refreshed by clicking on the Refresh button. Every time a page is loaded, the latest data is displayed. If you are a live subscriber on KE Trade, real-time data snapshots will be retrieved.
 


Is the mobile application free?
Yes, KE Trade's Mobile Application is free for all KE Trade users as of now. You will however need an internet account to login. Data fees will be charged as applicable by the telecommunication service provider. Also, commission and charges, including the minimum brokerage, are the same as online trading via KE Trade.
 


Can I trade using multiple accounts on KE Trade's Mobile Trading?
Yes. You can trade using multiple cash accounts.
 


Can I trade using my margin account on Mobile Trading?
Yes.
 


Can I view Order Status of the orders placed via KE Trade on Mobile Trading application?
Yes. Orders placed using KE Trade can be seen (also, amended and withdrawn) at the View Orders page on Mobile Trading and vice versa.
 


On the View Orders page, what do the Order Status abbreviation like F, Q, C, AC etc. stand for?

PO Pending to Enter Queue
Q Order Accepted in Queue
F Filled Order
PF Partially Filled Order
PA Reduced Order Pending to Enter Queue
AC Reduced Order Accepted in Queue
PC Order Pending Cancellation
C Cancelled Order Accepted in Queue
R Rejected Order
S Suspended Order
E Expired Order
U Unknown Status

Note: Amend / Withdraw actions are only valid for orders with status as PO, Q, PF or AC.
 


Are orders sent through KE Trade Mobile safe?
All orders placed and/or transactions done through KE Trade Mobile are secured and encrypted using Verisign 128-bits Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. The KE Trade trading system is further protected by Firewalls to prevent non-authorized persons from hacking the system.
 


How does order confirmation work on Mobile Trading?
Trades placed via Mobile Trading are sent to the KE Trade back end. An order number is generated, which indicates that the order has been placed with KE Trade (Internet). Confirmation of order execution can be checked by viewing 'View Orders' page on KE Trade Mobile App.
 


Can I change my password on Mobile Trading?
No. Log in to KE Trade (www.ketrade.com.sg) to change your password.
 


Can I view and edit my Watchlists?
Yes. Please install KE Trade Mobile version 1.0.2 and you can view all your watchlists that you may have previously maintained on KE Trade internet trading platform on KE Trade Mobile. In addition, you can also add/delete your favourite counters to/from your watchlists on KE Trade Mobile which will be auto-synched with your KE Trade internet trading platform watchlists.

Note: If your iPhone version is iOS 4.0, you may experience difficulties in deleting counters from your watchlists. This will be resolved in the next version upgrade when we enhance KE Trade Mobile to be fully functional on iOS 4.0.
 


I'm receiving timeout errors. Why?
Timeout errors are often attributable to a "temporary fault" to the server such as poor data connection or poor signal. If this problem persists you should contact your mobile data subscriber (Singtel, Starhub , M1, etc).
 


I am getting this message: "Operation could not be completed. Please check your network connections." Why?
This message appears if you get disconnected from the network while performing an operation. If this problem persists you should contact your mobile data subscriber (Singtel, Starhub , M1, etc).
 


Why do I sometimes see the loading circle (progress bar) for a long time?
The application requires a strong internet connection to retrieve information and you may experience slower loading in low network coverage areas. This is beyond the control of the application. If this problem persists you should contact your mobile data subscriber (Singtel, Starhub , M1, etc).

Note: Apple iPhones (3G, 3GS and the new iPhone 4) have an inherent problem in the display of signal strength.

Can I access Mobile Trading when I am overseas?
Yes. As long as there is Internet connection on your mobile phone, you can access KE Trade's Mobile Trading. Internet connection can be via high speed mobile connection or WiFi. Please check with your telecommunication service provider for the roaming charges applicable when you are overseas.
