1. When is the promotion period?

The promotion period is from 5 May to 4 August 2010. All account opening forms must be received by Kim Eng by end of 4 August 2010 to qualify. The 20% cash rebate is payable for online* trades made by the new client (Referee) within the first 3 months from his account opening date.

2. Which types of accounts are eligible under this promotion?

Eligible accounts include cash, CFD and margin trading accounts. Corporate accounts are not eligible.

3. Which types of trades will not be considered for the cash rebate?

Trades executed via CPF, SRS accounts and Buy-Ins will not be considered for the calculation of cash rebates.

4. Why do the cash rebates from foreign trades appear to be less than 20% of the commission that was paid?

This is because all foreign fees payable (including foreign brokerage fees) are deducted from the commission paid before computing the 20% rebate.

5. When will I receive the cash rebate and how will I be notified?

The cash rebate will be credited to you on a monthly basis, into your respective trading accounts (i.e. rebates from margin trades will be credited back to the margin account). Cash rebates earned this month will be paid out by the 7th working day of the following month and the amount of cash rebates will be reflected on your monthly statement.

6. Will I still get to enjoy the rebates when I change/switch my trading account to another Trading Representative?

No. In order to enjoy the Rebates, both the Referrer's and Referee's online trading accounts must be tagged under the same participating Trading Representative throughout the Promotion Period and for the first 3 months from opening of the Referee's trading account(s).

* For KE Trade and margin accounts, only online trades will qualify for the 20% cash rebate. For KE CFD, the 20% cash rebate will be awarded for both online and offline trades.
